First time visiting Scranton/Dickson City and Black Casket, the shop and artists are fantastic. The shop itself is immaculately clean and a great design/vibe overall. I was getting a piece done by a visiting artist and everyone at the shop was friendly and very talented, every client who was there when I was left with an amazing piece. I would 100% return for work from their artists.

Got two tattoos (pictured) done here by Jerry (this guy is the greatest, I live in Bartlesville Oklahoma now, and I plan on traveling the 5 hours (there and back) for all my tattoo needs). I won't go anywhere else. I made that mistake more than once (with piercings, sigh). Just because someone else is cheaper it certainly doesn't mean better. I got piercings (never had a single issue) done here as well. Other places come and go, but Ironhorse seems to be the only constant. Edit: added first picture and explanation for the second. (please note second picture was taken a few days later (after it was tattooed 😊) at work when I was doing cleaning/mantainance while it was healing. IT WAS NOT TAKEN AT THE SHOP, THEY ARE MUCH, MUCH CLEANER, AND HAVE MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE SEATING FOR THE TATTOOING.)

I saw this place had good reviews so I went for a small (very simple) tattoo of someone’s initials and it turned out really faded. So I went back for a free touch up and it faded again. The guy who did the tattoo said he was 16…wouldn’t recommend this place!! I’m going to have to pay to get it re done at some other place.
